(EFT)- Emotionally Focused Therapy can be used with individuals and with couples. Basically, the way an individual responds to stressful situations throughout life become patterned. These patterns serve us very well in most situations. However, sometimes these patterns start to become part of a cycle which doesn’t feel very good, or isn’t working in our lives. EFT helps us identify these patterns, create new cycles, and enjoy a greater closeness with the people in our lives. I love using EFT because it helps us simplify and understand our behaviors which otherwise look very complicated and confusing.
